What……no pictures?!Back in the early 70's I bought a new 2 1/2" 19-3 NIB from the sporting goods department of a local store. It was blued and P&R. It had regular grips and narrow trigger and hammer. At some point in time I installed .500 wide hammer and trigger. With that and an action job I had a fantastic shooter and duty weapon. I was working narcotics at the time and that little 19-3 got me out of more than one problem. I went back on the street and put the 19-3 in the sock drawer. It sat there for years and I decided to dress it up a little. I sent it to Smith for a beautiful nickel finish and called Patrick Grashorn who sent me a beautiful set of stags. That was at least 15 years ago and I haven't shot it since. I still get it out occasionally and drool over it. I know the collector value is low for some folks, but I know where it came from, what it did, and what it is. Jr. gets it when I take the dirt nap.
