Finally got the Shield!

Aaaaaaaand I finally got it - picked my Shield up yesterday morning! Haven't had a chance to get to the range with it yet, but I did at least get some hands-on time with it. Fits the hand really nicely, I think this is gonna be a real sweet shooter! Here's a quick pic of the new happy couple:

Seriously, congrats!

I've only been able to put a little over 100 rounds through mine so far but i really like it. I put the Apex Tactical Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit (AEK) in mine and the trigger pull is great!

Just need some 10-8 sights!!!

I just paid for mine but haven't received it yet. I've never seen one in person, but it looks like you can easily get three fingers on the grip, which is more than I can get on my 4513.

It must be kind of a big / little gun. I can't wait to check it out!

Not a full 3-finger grip with the 7rd mag...3-finger plus with the 8rd mag.

Just need a short ext for the 7rd to be there...maybe someone will start making one???

You CAN get all your fingers on it with the extended mag which is what he has in it. With the flush mag though, getting all your fingers on it will be tough. You'll have to have small hands or skinny fingers (in my case). I am able to rest my pinky with the flush mag in (see pic) but that is not how I shoot. At least you have the option with the extended grip magazine, but I'm not particularly a fan of carrying it with the extended mag. I find it harder to keep it from printing on my shirt.
