Incredibly accurate even for first time out. It has Uncle Mikes grips on it which fit my hand perfect and for what I paid I think this is one of my best buys yet!

Hi Mike. Don't know what barrel length of your gun, but this should be the last gun you would sell if it came down to that. If it's not abused, if it's not shot to pieces, if it's not tinkered with by a non-professional, it should last virtually forever. It was designed as a gun for LE, to be taken out of the box and put into use as a duty gun. Needs nothing, except maybe for a grip change.
Do you know anything about the gun's history, LE trade-in or...?

Congrats on your 64! 
They are great K frames and as Kaaskop49 pointed out will last a long time.
I have a 2" version that is my carry gun in warmer weather.

Mike, you really need a 4" 64 with a SB. Trust me. We all do. Why I have 2, I couldn't leave the 2nd one there. Stay safe, partner.

The 64 and its forebear the 10 may be the most successful revolvers ever made in terms of sales and longevity. Which has to tell us a lot.
