haha after working 12 hours and going straight into the woods he didnt feel right either. I just had my gallbladder taken out too so the drag was rather rough.
Well I got into the woods late (8am in the treestand) I sat there for about 2 hours and a yodel dog ran out and i figured i wouldnt see anything at all. To my surprise 3 does came out about 20 minutes afterwards and 10-15 minutes after that the big buck came tracking them. He walked straight towards me and i didnt think i would get a shot but something snapped off to the right and he turned perfectly broadside. 80 yard shot and he didnt even move. Just hit the ground, no tracking. (was hunting with a .270 T/C venture shooting 150 grain nosler IBT and hornady brass, redfield 3-9x50 scope) Cant complain, would rather my first big buck be taken with a bow but hey, ill take that one anyday
Not a very good picture-his tongue isn't hanging out
Plus-it looks like you were shooting a little close to the road there-be careful the wardens don't catch ya
