All these years, I thought that you didn't get much better than a 1970s vintage Colt Combat Commander and a pre-war Woodsman .22. OK, throw in an S&W M 39 and Walther P-1 for mid-size calibre shooting. More lately I've discovered the joy and efficiency of the 3rd gen Smiths. Currently I carry the CS9, 908S, and 6906. However, I now have to revise my choice of weapons. Here in Texas is a guy selling the ultimate in personal protection. If I may, I quote from his post, titled Tactical excellence package:

"Hipoint 9mm with tactical trigger job and custom grip enhancement. Cold steel neck knife for the ultimate in quite concealed protection. May also include handmade leather IWB holster for the right buyer.

"The hipoint [sic] pistol is a rock solid gun built way over spec, just look at the youtube torture tests. Cold steel can also destroy meat boots [sic], bamboo mats, and cardboard tubes. Hate to see this package go but my GF needs to get to planned parenthood before tehy [sic] change the law and I need the cash to man up and take care of my responsibilities. Serious inquiries only, no trades for crappy plastic guns or jam o matic 1911s.

The fellow - dare I call him a man? - with the enciente female is asking only $725.
I guess I'll need to list my old arsenal for sale and get with the program. Anybody want some 3rd gens, cheap?:)

Wow What a deal. If you decide to decline, pass the info on to me. Thanks

I liquidated a number of guns in the not too distant past to acquire, among other things that go bang, like a 2.5" M19 and a 1931 .38-44, a simply stellar Browning Hi-Power. But what is a Hipoint?

Sad or amusing, I don't know which, but a Google search uncovered that very ad.

Either a joke, or a prime example of why inbreeding is a bad thing.
