Finally sighted in my G&P Eotech 552 clone.

Red Wolf Air Soft is one of the few places that still sells them, however they are not in the US so it may take a while to get it shipped here. They are about 75-80 bucks there.

I ordered 2 of them at Redwolf.
1 for me and 1 for a friend.

Took them 3 days to arrive in the country (Holland), but its still at customs, they are slow as h*ll down here.

Congrats, when I first started this thread I was just giving info on that particular brand,as I had seen a few questions about them. But Im gald it worked out so that a few of you guys found the same type to buy. Hopefully yours works as well for you, as mine does for me. As I said there is "some very slight ghosting" at times but rarely and not very much at all.( at least for me) That being said it is most noticable with inside lighting, but when used outside( mine at least) it has nothing but the red or green reticle. This thing holds zero perfectly so far at least. I've ran about 1500 rounds after zeroing it in,and so far its still dead center.

Just a word of advice when sighting it in to save some time of wondering whats going on? That is on my model at least, the up/down and left/right markings on the actual body are reversed, that kept screwing me up as I went from needing to move the sight down to now its left, right etc etc. Hopefully your clones have the same set of flip up plastic lens covers that mine had already installed that fit on the inside of the covering on the sight itself. This helps to prevent any form of object from scratching the lens itself, say during being transported and such. These clones co witness perfectly with the factory irons of in my case, Im using the FDE magpul flip up MBUS.

thanks for the tips, the up/down left/right story cracked me up when i read it ;)

redwolf is a nice site, bought some Magpul stuff with 15% discount :)
(sights, miad grip, railcovers and an AFG, all in OD green)

i guess i am just worrying about ordering from a Hong Kong based shipper...so Red Wolf is the real deal and can be trusted?

Yes, Red Wolf is the real deal. They do have a US office brand, just dont stock certain products there due to copy right laws, hence the 552's coming from Hong Kong.

their acog clone isnt half bad looking either

what is that red candycane looking think on the top?
On the real ACOG it's a fiber optic strip to collect light and illuminate the reticle. They use the fiber optic to supplement the tritium lamps in some models. On the clone it's nonfunctional.

Red Wolf is a pretty established airsoft supply company. Just be sure not to order AEG pistol grips, and they don't attach the same way.

I got mine in today from Redwolf (2 pieces).

1 works fine, the other was doa. :(
Sent an email to Redwolf, think it will work out fine.

The retical on the other was great, no ghosting, very clear, top notch :)

Guess the 2nd one had a case of jetlag, it works all of a sudden.

Congrats. Pretty clear reticle for a clone huh? Not very much ghosting at all, if at all. Now I will warn you that you will have some ghosting once the batteries start to get pretty low on power.( this is mostly indoors though, outside its still pretty ghost free in day light) Its kind of a good thing though, as you know its getting near the time to change the batteries while still having a fairly bright reticle. But a change to fresh AA's and your back to the original bright and clear reticle. Im very happy with my G&P 552 clone. In broad daylight, I turn the brightness down to about 75% because its too bright to even see smaller areas for pinpoint shooting on small targets lol.

I was just doing a search for holographics and noticed this thread. It's about a year old now so i was curious how your G&P's are holding up?

No idea, its collecting dust in a closet.
I got my hands on a 2nd hand Aimpoint M4. The G&P isnt bad, but the dot of the Aimpoint is much crisper then the G&P.
