I sold a fair condition M457 .45ACP about 4+ years back to finance the buying of a nice used M686 6" .357mag.
I have never regretted selling it considering what I got but I always wanted to replace it.
well things have come full circle and I was able to take delivery of a NIB M457 that has never been in the system.
took it out yesterday and even though I don't really like the stock grips and am waiting on a set of hogue rubber grip to show up for it, I was very pleased with its function and accuracy.
I shot just as good as the well used model I had 4 years ago.
One thing I like about these nice S&W compacts is they are very easy to shoot one handed and still hit accurately.

Nice. Last summer I was looking at a LNIB 457. I ever made an offer at the shop it was at and the would have taken $350.00 for it, but I passed. Felt real bad that I didn't get it until a month later a LNIB 4516 came in the same shop. Didn't pass on it and carry it every day.
