To each his own, but the front sight is mounted too far forward, and backwards.

Looks good, but how can you see through that front site???

The same thing happened to me. My scope is pointed directly at the front sight but when I look through the scope it's completely gone as if its not on my gun. I was going to make a thread asking about this. Does anyone know why?

You guys were right....I switched the ladder rails for UTG rails. I can see through it some how, some way! I'm not sure how this is possible as the scope is pointed right at the sights. I originally mounted it back on to take a quick picture because the front sight is aggressive looking, and decided to peek through the scope and to my amazement I could see. I take it off when I shoot though.

A fixed front sight (yours is installed backwards) is not usually a problem with magnified optics. The front sight post is outside the focal range of the scope and becomes (mostly) invisible.

Yay physics!

With 1x optics (Aimpoint, Eotech, etc.) you will see the front sight post. Most people co-witness with it and it's still not a problem. If it bothers you, take it off.

Cool thanks for the explanation. I realize it is on backwards, like I said before, I don't use it and I take it on and off regularly which might explain why it is on backwards.

I'm not even close to finished with mine.

Has anyone else noticed when putting on a new grip that it feels really weird tightening it down, i got a little nervous and stopped, i may have overtightened it a little bit but I have no plans to take it off anytime soon.

Yeah I figured, I tightened it probably a "little" more than I should of but the whole time I was tightening the bolt it felt "snug" even from the beginning. I made sure I wasn't thread it in wrong but I got kind of nervous when it wouldn't stop turning and left it alone.

mine went on the same way. I was nervous too but after retrying enough times i figured that's "just how it is." its looking good....No rails?

i told ya! i tried painting them and it didnt work, currently soaking them in soapy water trying to get the paint off lol
