Finishes on MIM Hammer/Triggers

I note that the new Lipseys Mountain guns have a flash chromed finish over their MIM hammers and sears, presumably for additional hardness and smoothness.

Anyone have any experience themselves with having their MIM hammers and triggers chromed/electroless nickeled/or what else ?

S&W has been flash chroming hammers for a long time.

Don't see anything on Lipsey website saying the sear has been plated.

I meant triggers, not sears. I know a couple folks who have the .44s; I'll ask.

I know S&W has been flash chroming their forged parts - just not the MIM parts.
