First car!

My first was a '68 Galaxie 500. My favorite was a '69 Mach I. Sure wish I still had it! Now I drive a '04 Mustang. My baby on wheels. But I'd much rather have that '69!

I wish I had a pic of my first car; it'd be nice to have the car too! It was a 1960 Chevy Biscayne that I gave $100 for it.

my first car was a 92' honda civic I bought off of it's irritated owner for $26 (yeah 26 bucks) and it had no reverse in the transmission anymore, so I had to keep pushing it backward

Okay, if ou're going to talk about some of these truly wonderful cars you're really going to have to post some pics. **Please**

Mom and Dad wouldn't let me get/buy a car when I was in High School but I did talk them into letting me build this VW powered Rail Buggy. I bought a junker '69 Beetle for suspention and drivetrain.
I had a Cool Shop Teacher in H.S. my Senior year...........instead of making the silly dustpans and normal class project "trinkets", he allowed me to do all the machine work for my car in class and then graded me.
I kept this for a number of years until after I was married. Use to enjoy driving it on the sand at Silver Lake State Park in Northern Michigan above Ludwig.

My first new car. BTW, been hauling that boat with this car since 1989, weighs 5000 lbs. on the trailer. With a weight transfer hitch, electric brakes on both axles, it tows just fine. Course, the engine is not even close to stock. Makes for a very spirited driver when the boat isn't attached.

Bought it when I was 15, fixed it up, rebuilt the engine (4x) and I still have it. It was made one month before I was, except I was made in Dearborn and it rolled off the San Jose line.

Mine was a hand me down 77 custom Dodge van. Remember the 70's? Shag carpet on the floor and walls, velour on the roof. The people at church called it a "Sin Bin", but I was a good kid. It was called a "Good Times Machine", and the fun came to an end when I rolled it. Yes as the saying goes, I let the Good Times roll! If it counts, I still own the 1929 Model A that my mom bought when I was born.

My first car was a 1963 Avanti (I ripped this picture off the internet) as all my older photos the ones from the 50's-80's went up in flames.

It was a fire in the storage facility that had some of my stuff stored after a move. No one was hurt in the fire. I lost a of pictures.

Got my 1st car in 1964.
It was a 1931 Model A Ford 2 Door.
Dad and I restored it with the help of the J.C. Higgins parts catalog.
No computers or digital cameras in those days.

My first was a 1968 SS396 Chevelle bought used when i was 17
And i lived to talk about it :)

74 Vega, red and black, mags and bucket seats. Zero to 60 in twelve minutes...going down hill. Once at the bottom of the hill, the Vega needed another quart of oil. Had a 74 Mustang 2 that while on the highway, you could actually see the gas gauge slowly move left, towards empty. Man, that car could chow gas.
