Well bought this as my first firearm and im sure as hell glad it was this!! Took her to the range yesterday for a break-in session and was impressed. Guy next to me was using the gsg mp5 which i thought About getting. Gladly i bought this because he was having alot of issues with his, while i kept throwing round after round down range.

Any suggestions on a good set of optics?

Do you plan on running magnified? Like a 1-4x like the millet dms-1 or primary arms 1-4.

Or a red dot? Like the aimpoint micro, primary arms micro, vortex sparc, etc...

I would wait until the 4th of July because you know everyone like Primary Arms, DSG arms, Palmetto state armory, Brownells, midway etc are going to have sales then.

If you mean a 1-4, they're fun on the 15-22.

PA is having a Fathers Day sale now. I got the email, but haven't checked it out. The dots have been selling out lately, but Marsh says most of their optics will be back in July.

I'd take the primary arms 1-4x over the barska. Also check out the millet DMS-1. It's also 1-4x with illuminated reticle.

I run the DMS-1 on my 522 and I like it.

Finally broke her in with over 1k of federal bulks , 375 CCI AR tacticals, and 500 winchester super X ammo and did not have ANY FTEs or FTFs!!!

Also added a vortex strike fire and magpul RVG grip. All i can say is im loving this gun ALOT!! Will post pics when im not being lazy and stop posting from my iphone......

Yes it is. Im actually ahead of scheduel, so the last mods i will be getting are supressor, magpul stock, MBUS backup sights.
