I think its great fun and shows our hobby has a sense of humor (maybe a bit twisted at times) and this marketing might actually draw some new people into the shooting sports. Now to get some Vampire-Max blood shedders....

Hello Gentlemen,

Thank you for the positive feedback. Please note that Varmageddon is the name of our new line of varmint ammunition and component bullets. We developed a highly efficient manufacturing process which allows us to make bullets of exceptional accuracy and performance with minimal waste. This allows us to pass the savings on to you, providing a high-quality varmint bullet at a price that is suited to day-long varmint shooting expeditions. The name Varmageddon refers to the fact that the varmints themselves may consider this new bullet to be a sign that their days are numbered. Thank you for your interest.

Nice to get feedback from the industry. I'm going to get some and load in both .308 and .223/5.56. Makes the little critters fear the light.:D

You were comparing this to what, Zombie Max? I thought it was just Critical Defense with a green plug. This Varmageddon is a pretty nice bullet.

No, I was just looking at the genre' of the zombie marketing. I wasn't compairing actual types of rounds.
My post was just meant to point out the fun stuff.
As I said in my post previous to yours, I plan on loading some and see how they perform.

Could have been better if they'd used "Real P-dogs shooting footage",
like me and my buddy used to Tape when we went to S. Dakota on our
twice annual trips. Lots of fun to watch after you get back home on a good TV, rewind slo-mo, etc.... I started out shooting Nosler Balistic tip
bullets years ago/mid early 90's but switched to Hornady V-max after Nosler Ballistic Tips became extinct to re-loaders. They dropped the ball and forgot about the re-loaders and sent all the BT's to factory loadings.

I still have a few boxes of Nosler Ballistic Tips under my load bench. I was saving them for a rainy day but since the end of the world is coming soon I may as well load em up. They have been one of my all time favorites.

mammageddon, n. vast destruction wrought by an irate wife or mother. Mammageddon was greatly feared in biblical times.

I just spent $3,400.00 on an Ed Brown custom; I'm afraid to go home. When my wife finds out there is going to be a real mammageddon at our house.
