I had to cut the session short when my glasses broke, but I was impressed with the trigger. Almost no take up, fairly clean break with little over travel and nice short reset. I don't really have much to compare it with. I have never owned an AR, but next to my AK, it's like night and day.

Congrats! There isn't anything wrong with the stock combat trigger on an AR-15. It's worlds better than most stock triggers on other modern sporting rifles.

For your AK, install an ALG AKT. Makes a world of difference over the usual Tapco triggers.

Could you go into more detail about the night and day difference in the AR and AK? I have never shot or owned an AK so I like to hear your take on the two.

That little Sport is really a nice gun. It's so light. I didn't do a thing to mine. Just threw it under the bed for when the zombies gather in the back yard.

Actually, night and day doesn't cover it. The AR is like snapping a piece of uncooked spaghetti. The AK is literally like breaking a number two pencil. My AK is an early Norinco Mak 90. I'm told it is one of the better ones to have. Sadly, it's being sold as we speak to pay for the AR. I'd like to keep both, but I probably wouldn't shoot it much anymore.
