I had a friend once tell me to find the grip that feels comfortable and controllable in the hand first, and then figure out how you are going to carry it. This is the smallest grip I've found that fits both of those requirements for me and my large hands. So far I haven't carried it, but when I do I'm going to have to figure out how.
