First J frame

Is there any way to dispose of the lock? , or would that be a bad idea? I've never owned revolver with a lock. It would prolly be fine, but deep down a part of me worries it my tie the gun up on me.

I know I'm too late, but for others with similar thoughts, just leave it alone unless it causes a problem . . . I would never buy a revolver that has had the lock tampered with, because the thought process that initiates the tampering leads to all other sorts of home gunsmithing ideas . . .

I understand where you are coming from. I do not plan on selling the gun though. It crossed my mind to trade it before I removed the lock, and get a no lock version but I knew I'd still prolly have to pay in some more money. I just decided to keep it and remove the lock, since I rarely ever sell a gun anyways, and I would not want someone else life to be in the hands of a gun I performed work on

Range trip today Shot from 7 to 15 yards. Some fairly fast others slow fire staging the trigger. This makes 180 rounds I've shot through it since last weekend. I'm feeling confident in it now. Here is target from today uploadfromtaptalk1410729875178.jpg

Good work! Keep up the practice. And stop staging the trigger. :)

Badger custom grips on mine (pictured above with the two knives) I love them! Eat recoil pretty well, and feel/look super good.
