First look, My newest 57 with my newest grips

I recently acquired this nice Factor embellished Model 57 and I thought I would share this first photo of the revolver

It was wearing checkered target stocks when I received it and Yes those do letter to the gun.

The good folks at Cullina's found me a piece of French Cake Walnut that finished out at just the color I was looking for.

However, those grips are so SHINNY I can't do these quicky photos like I normally get away with. So better images are going to be coming

Very nice! Were those stocks out of the last batch the Culina's released last week or the week before? I selected a set of marble cake french walnut as well. I'm dabbling with the idea of asking Keith Brown or Rowen to checker them in the S&W coke bottle pattern using 20LPI instead the original 16.

Yes, this was from the most recent batch, it is #N21

That's a nice engraving job to be factory. And you're so right about taking pics of Culina grips. They reflect so much light it's hard to get that good shot. Congrats on both!
