First mods to my Sport 2

Went to a gun show in Harrisburg PA this morning. Picked a Magpul grip and handguard. Nice, simple improvements.

Nice gun. It is easy and fun to "upgrade" these, isn't it?

I've gone through many grips. I find it funny that the grip I like the best is still the generic MIL-SPEC grip. If we don't try, we don't learn.

It looks like the Optics Ready version with the steel front low profile gas block that has picatinny rail on it and he has mounted a front sight to the gas block rail.

I removed the front sights on mine lol. I use a red dot and leave the irons off. Simple, clean lighter.

Correct. Bought it as a flat top and added pop up sights
