Went to the indoor range today and could only shoot 25 yards but put out 625 rounds with no problems. First 100 were CCI Mini Mags then 525 Federal Champions. Love this gun! Only issue was with my scope which was off to the left even though it was adjusted right as far as it could go. Range owner said he thinks it would be better at a distance of at least 50 yards.

Awesome! Welcome to the addiction.

What scope?

I don't see how it's going to get better with distance - maybe if you're outside with a side wind? :D

Could it be the mount?

It's the Center point 4-16x40. Since I am new to rifles and scopes I am sure it's me not adjusting it properly. I have a friend with a bore scope maybe that would help. His point about distance was that it was adjusted all the way and would have more latitude for adjustment at a greater distance.

Then the odds are there is a problem with the way the scope is mounted.

I mounted it with the rings that came with it. What could I have done wrong? Should I go with different rings?

Most likely the scope is not parallel with the bore, according to what you posted. Uneven tightening can affect this, as can tightening the rings without the scope in them. I would remove and remount the scope. See if you can get someone experienced to help you.
