Was at the range tonight and the other guy there was looking at the 15/22 and asking me some questions. I let him shoot off some rounds. He offered to let me shoot a few rounds through his Bushmaster. Wow! I have never shot anything bigger than a .22 before this. The muzzle flash of the .223 was not something I had expected. But it was still cool. I see a 5.56/.223 in my future.

As they say " Once you go black you won't go back ", I had a RRA after I shot my first year of high power with a 1903A3, second year with a Grand. Then I got the Rock and I was in heaven with it. I shot it for four years and had to give up high power because of hip popping out of socket. The AR is a great gun, I'm selling the 1903A3 to get a 15-22 and a RRA.

The "gateway gun" strikes again... there are many companies making ars and if you do your home work and shop around you can build a nice ar for 600 or even find one used every now and again for that kind of money... I've built 2 more to add to my collection in the last year and both I had right at 600 in and they r the best of everything for a m4 anyway..

I got my 15-22 last week and am getting a 223-556 tomorrow. Can't wait

As I have to remind my wife every so often, you can never have too many guns. Running out of room for another gun safe, though!

Love the M14~M1A1. Drilled with it, and shot it expert. This is the only real battle rifle made in the US after the M1 Garand! JMHO!
SOCOM, Marines, and Seals still using them. Others also.
