First S&W firearm

I just purchased a New M&P40c for the wife and she loves it how ever after the first 100 rounds it had multiple problems with the slide locking back as if the the magazine was empty.
we have just sent it back for repair.

fed ex said they got it on the 17th so we will see.
I know compacts can have their moments.
But the wife really loves the gun all 58 1/2 inches of Her.
The M&P40c fits her like a glove, they tried to sell her a 9mm or a 380 but she was having non of that.
This gun is very accurate and she demonstrated it .
If it wasn't for the slide locking back all the time it would have been a perfect day at our SW Florida Gun Club.
