First Time Carry

Ohio carry laws and liquor establishments are a bit goofy. At first it was you couldn't carry into a place where liquor was sold for ON PREMISES consumption. I believe they were trying to target actual bars/nightclubs. Then I saw signs in places that sold alcohol, but NOT for on premises consumption (stores like Walmart, grocery stores etc). Now its more like "just don't drink while you're carrying."

I'd have to check the laws again to make sure *I* know whats going on.
 
This is very close in verbiage to the sign I was talking about.

Yeah, it's not really clear. I think the key is "on premises consumption" to this question. If the place sells liquor to be consumed on the premises, don't carry there.

Even so, like I said before, the Ohio law is much more complicated than it is here. Crazy.
