I took these two classics out for a spin today for the first time since I bought them. Both are really sweet shooters but the nod so far has to go to the 586 no dash. I think I shot it better because of the larger target stocks. The 27-2 is hard for me to hold still with the service stocks on it. I think I have a set of Hogues that will fit it. I want to try them both again with Hogues mounted. Enjoyed shooting both of them though! Enjoy the pics. :)

I agree with this thought. They were called target stocks for a reason. I've never been able 'come to grips' with magnas, and finger grooves only work if they fit my hand just right. Some do, some don't.
