Welcome from Texas... buy lots of ammo cause you will be shooting it alot and that should take care of the practice... welcome agin.

Well then another welcome fellow Texan... this fourm is a great place and lots of info... Welcome agin.

Practice does make perfect but only when you are practicing correctly. What sort of issues are you having? If you are not familiar with the ar platform you have to compensate for sight off set.

Good times! I was going to shoot today also but got rained out :(.

Joined a club (it's their range). Only shooting I've done previously is with the Air Force and that's not much. At least there I've been able to hit the target. Today, I miss all but 4 shots even though I thought I had the right sight picture. 50 yard range, so maybe that's an issue for me. Dunno...it was still fun...:o

Welcome from Illinois....buy ammo then shoot and then buy more ammo then shoot. Get use to the iron sights then apply a good optic to the upper rail. It's a disease I tell ya!

If you can, try to sight it in at 25 yards. It always helps me to sight in at close range then work my way out.

Welcome to the forum!

Another welcome from a fellow Texan! Just practice, practice, practice. You will get a lot better really fast. Also like others have said try sighting it in at 25 yds, much easier to start! Have fun and get ready to spend some more money!!
