I got this thing in as-new condition from Sportsman's Warehouse, and finally had a chance to shoot it today. After reading about all the issues with this gun on this forum, I didn't know what to expect. Happy to say the pistol shot just fine. I only ran through a box of Armscor blaster ammo just to get a feel for the pistol and an early glimpse of reliability. Only issue was the failure of the slide to lock back on the first magazine. No other issues. Then I put 10 rounds of "good stuff" -- Hornady Critical Defense -- through it to see if it fed okay. It did, and it was both milder in recoil impulse and more accurate than the Armscor 95-grain FMJ. No paper target to show. I was shooting at a 10-inch steel pig hanger at 25 yards, offhand. I can see that that enormously wide rear sight will need replacing but everything else looks fine to me. The BG 2.0 is worlds above the Ruger LCP in design and ergos, as many here have noted. It fits my medium-sized hands very nicely, and conceals in the front pocket of my cargoes like a dream. I look forward to putting a few more hundred rounds through it coming days.
