I have been searching the forums for this and I can't seem to find if anyone else has this issue.
I have a 15-22 carbine (i.e. not the pistol), though I figure the triggers are the same.
When I insert a magazine and pull the charging handle, the first trigger pull/shot seems completely different than the rest of the shots out of the magazine. It feels like it's clunky, or requires slightly more force. All the rest of the trigger pulls, be they 5, 25, 35 shots -- are all the same.
Is this common and, if so, is there an easy way to fix it?
It's possible it's all in my head. . . I'm used to shooting large caliber guns with tons of recoil so maybe I'm just bracing for something that isn't there in the first shot.
