Recently bought a new speed hammer aka the fish hook hammer for a K22 combat masterpiece that I have. It is currently sporting a target hammer and it looks out of place in my opinion.

The hammer arrived and after initial inspection nothing looks worn or broken or bubba'd. I figured it would need to be fitted and thought I would try my hand at it.

On initial installation the hammer requires alot of force to lock back in single action and will not fall when the trigger is squeezed.

So my question is how should I go about this. My Kuhnhausen manual is in the mail!

If you have a trigger stop, it probably needs to be shortened. Maybe the new hammer is hitting the frame when it goes all the way back. Something is stopping the hammer or trigger from moving as far as it needs to. Carefully inspect the different parts to see what is stopping movement.

It doesnt seem to be rubbing but more that the surfaces of the hammer and trigger are not engaging properly
