The plastic front sight popped off the slide the other day while firing, so I bought a steel Glock front sight...much better sight.
It arrived today and required fitting, as it was a little too big. I needle-filed the slide's cutout and after several fitting attempts, got the sight to snugly fit. Cleaned it up, added blue threadlocker and tightened the hex-head screw down with a 3/16" nut driver. Now it looks better than new, and will also function better than new. It's an easy fix...the steel Glock front sight is around $17.
