FNG with a 39-2

just recently picked up this fine lil weapon from an estate sale. I field stripped and cleaned it up and then put about 90 rounds thru it. About every 3rd round failed to eject. Does this model have a history of bad extractors?

not at all...all 3 of my 39-2 and my 59's extract flawlessly. Try some different ammo and see what happens. Hope yu get to the REAL problem soon. 39-2's are so much fun and just feel right in every regard to me and many others as well. Keep us posted on the solution to the real problem.

well, I ordered a spring kit for the pistol. On a scale of ten, how would you rate changing out the extractor spring on this sweet lil gun. Im pretty handy, is this a DIY project?

As mentioned..try different ammo..did this FTE happen with different magazines? Maybe the recoil spring needs changing.

Love the model 39-2..let us know what happens when the springs get changed.
