Hi to all......name is Roger and hail out of Lakeland,Fl. Huge Tigers fan and spend about ten months of the year photographing the various levels of the Tigers franchises.
Not a huge collector/shooter and mainly into the SKS. I'm an ex two tour helicopter pilot from RVN that flew Hueys for a year and then Kiowa scouts. A shooter friend linked me to this forum due to a discussion on the RVN era S&W's.

My memories of Texas are mostly pleasant even if it was the primary helicopter training base for me. Sunday afternoons at Possum Kingdom and evenings down in hell's Acre (Ft. Worth) at The Cellar.

Looks like I have to find a Model 10. I have the long guns my grandfather's used and the guns used against me in RVN plus a few odds and ends. This forum has prompted me to acquire the S&W the Army gave me a year at a time.
