Food Dropped on the Floor?

...to the 20 second rule 5 seconds to find it, 5 seconds to bend down, 5 seconds to pick it up, 5 seconds to stand back up.........then drop it again.

I for one, have been blessed with amazing reflexes.:D Generally When I drop something I manage to pick it before it hits the ground. Maybe I got some cat and dog genes in me.:D

I've got a trained K-9 unit that promptly and without fail takes care of such issues.

I'm finding it really strange that we actually grew up because of all of the anti-bacterial products being sold today! Growing up, dish soap and hot water were used for cleaning dishes, counter tops, cutting boards, cutting utensils, etc. and we never died from all of the germs which were every where, if you believe the modern commercials. Germs must have been so thick that we could barely move around but now with the anti-bacterial products our lives are so much better, if you believe everything you are told.

The book Endurance by Sir Alfred Lansing is an account of the expedition led by Sir Ernest Shackleton to cross Antarctica. They were icebound and travelling to reach the coast. One of their travel days they had problems and stopped after only two hours. A man walked back to the old campsite as he had lost a piece of cheese there the size of the end of his little finger. He was accompanied by two friends. When he found it he declared it was totally worth the trip.
So how bad do you want that piece of food?
