For old times sake , remember the wheel?

I always like that business like look of the 3.5" Model 27. I only have one model 27. It is a 6" nickel -2 that just turned 50.

I read on here for a couple years before joining and distinctly recall the wheel and how we were all chasing the 3.5"…….for $1,000.00 -$1,200.00 and it seemed like a crazy price at the time when you could get a nice 29-2 or -3 for $750.00 with presentation box.

Maybe some of the long time members will remember the wheel of 3.5" 27s. It must be, what, 20 years now?

Beautiful wheel!!! I love the wheel, but over the years, my addiction to the 3.5" 357 Magnum has taken me to a more "rectangle" presentation to fit in the frame... and if I recall correctly, I have you to thank for the 3.5" Original Magnum in the top left corner of this photo.:)

Very impressive. Especially the pre-war. That's a mistake that a younger policeman made that a retired policeman in second career would not make! Enjoy it my friend !

I do enjoy it very much. It is a foundational cornerstone of my 3.5" magnum collection. Since you sent it to me, the "package" increased to include a box for a 3.5" pre-war Magnum (for a much later SN gun, but a nice box all the same) and a Historical Foundation Repro Certificate. With the inspector badge and extra 8 3/8" barrel that was with it when you sent it my direction, it is a very, VERY nice package.

Thank you again,

The most badass DA revolver ever. I have a 5 screw pre-27 that a local owned. It has holster wear because it was his bear defense gun while fly fishing, but very tight. He got it with the Cokes option. Ages ago I traded a 3.5" 27-2 fluted cylinder to another member here. I don't remember for what (does that prove I'm a gun guy?)

A real gun guy doesn't trade a 3.5" 27. :)

Nice little stroll down memory lane. Yesterday I had a little time on my hands so I went through the "Pictures and Albums" section. Wow!! Highly recommended.
