Hello,
I have what I believe to be is a sideplate for a Model 66 SW commemorative that was made for the Dallas Police Department to commemorate 100yrs. (1881-1981) I am not sure of the origin and it was suggested that it might have been a dealer sample used to show the Dallas PD at the time what the sideplate on the commemorative would look like once produced. It could have also been off a firearm that had it replaced with a blank sideplate. I honestly forgot how I acquired it (we have a store and I cannot remember if we bought it from a customer or if it may have been part of an estate?) I was going to put it out for sale at the store, but thought I would post it here first! We can sell it for $100 shipped and can accept credit cards if that helps.
