.....what holster are you using and have you had any issues worth reporting re: the SD9/40 in general? I'm using Blackhawk's 'Compact Askin's' holster (leather and made in Italy; made for the M&P) and absolutely LOVE it. Its design keeps the butt of the pistol tucked in close to the body. It, coupled with an 'Instructor's Belt' from Condor, make for VERY comfortable all-day CCWing.

i use a crossbreed supertuck with a amish belt i carry all day long and more times then not i forget its even there
 
I use to CCW my SD9 in a blackhawk IWB, soft holster. Never had a problem, but I just ended up wanting something smaller to CCW. Now its mainly for home invasion protection. Now I CCW my Bodyguard 380 in Superfly DeSantis pocket holster.
 
I've found that my Sigma and M&P holsters will both work with the SD. I found a Sigma shoulder holster in clearance bin and it works fantastic. Seldom use it, but couldn't resist the deal. FWIW.
