I have received a thank you letter from every politician the letter was sent to except for Biden and Obama.

Getting involved works, and I encourage everyone to continue to be proactive in their pursuit to preserve the second amendment.

ya what the heck i cant believe he doesn't have the time to send you a letter saying thanks. (sarcasm)

Got one yesterday from Kevin Brady here in Texas and it even went on to say they he will fight anything Congress or the White House proposes and to report anything that any of us hear that would be of use to him and his office.

Pretty cool.

How surprising, especially since this president seems to spend a lot of time online. He tweets and posts stuff on facebook almost on the hour. I bet he's got his spam filter set for words like "second amendment" and "firearms".

^ya im sure that's him posting.

Have'nt heard any reply back? I'm not surprized, after last nights State of the Union speech.....

I'm down in FL and was surprised to get the following but automated reply from Marco Rubio's office. I know he is the future Republican golden boy and being groomed for the future but his strong 2nd Amendment support still surprised me.

Thank you for writing me regarding the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I understand this is an important issue and I appreciate hearing your thoughts.

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." I hold the fundamental belief the Second Amendment should not be altered. At the same time, I have always been open to measures that would keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill.

In light of the recent tragedies, some have suggested restricting gun ownership and have suggested ways to curb gun violence. I am always open to ideas on how to stop violent crimes, however I have concerns when these suggestions are solely directed toward restricting gun ownership. Given the Constitution's clear stance on gun ownership, I will continue to support an individual's right to own firearms.

Nothing from the Pres and Vice Pres; replies from everyone else. I have used several different links

Bill

I got automated replies from my Congressman and both Senators. I did not read the reply from the Dem Senator since I know his position and does he share my values.

Same here. Nothing from Obama or Biden. Got replies from my Governor and most of the others.

Same here but all of the replies I have recieved have all beat around the bush and were very vague.

Automated response for me also except for one Senator who wrote more saying about how he will ensure 2nd ammendment rights.
