had a pretty tough day too, this has put a HUGE smile on my face! I've been looking for roundbutt grips, but can't find any in my budget. This has really made my night!!! very very cool. If I ever get K frame grips by accident or random chance I'll think of you, as i don't have any K frames :) Spose I'll PM u my address? I'll certainly take a photo of the new grips on my 629 and post, they look comfy! My wrist is happier than I am!

I got your pm and address. They will go out tomorrow for sure. I am glad I could turn your day around and happy to know they are going to someone who wants and will use them.

I am looking for: original grips for a 1983 Model 36 J frame or a 1988 Model 19-5 K frame. I will gladly pay a reasonable price, so let me know if spotted.

I carry a 627 Pro in a Simply Rugged holster on a good belt of unknown make. It's a dang good set up for carry. It's not the easiest thing to reholster one handed into the Simply Rugged holster but it's a good carry rig.

I have a Simply Rugged pancake holster for my 4" 629. If not trying to conceal I carry the 629 while woods walking and deer scouting in a Grizzly Tuff holster.

DeSantis Speed Scabbard...probably my all-around favorite because it protects ones clothes from the hammer and sights, is very "high-ride", excellent retention and very fast.

Dillon 5" that I gave to a friend with a 5" 629 Classic...

Custom made by a friend many years ago....a Brewer Special...

Roy Baker Pancake for a 6"...

Last but not least...a No-Sho......Made in Houston, Texas back in the 1970s and 80s....once on the belt all you are hiding is the gun...

Here are the two rigs I had made for the Model 28's I own. First confession---no I don't wear both at the same time. Laughing is permissable--my wife and I both laughed at the old man in his shorts.
I had these rigs made by two different makers--special orders--Black Hills in Laredo and Ross Leather in South Africa.
Ross did the basket weave and Rudy did the floral.
I chose a 3" belt and high ride scabbards because they are old school and the way Border rangers and lawmen of the time carried their weapons--not low slung.
The high ride rides well in a car and is very comfortable on the hip.
Blessings

Here's one of my favorites for work, when I get a little dressed up. Model 627 Pro with leather gear. Holtser and speeloader pouch by Tex Shoemaker. Or the 625 MG in 45 Colt, which after this year, will no longer be authorized.

S&W 625-11 Scandium Snubby

S&W Model 625-11 Performance Center Revolver
Lew Horton Special Edition
Caliber: .45 Colt
6 round cylinder
1.88 inch barrel
Fixed sights (v-notch rear/white dot front)
Weight: 25 oz. (scandium frame/stainless cylinder & yoke)

Extraordinarily concealable in either strong carry or cross draw modes. Lightweight. More than ample ballistics. Quite accurate for self-defense range. Very reliable. What more can one ask for?

Good looking duty rig by Tex.
Rudy does some for some of the Boys.
Mine is based on a duty rig--old school--and rides high and comfortable.
Blessings

These are the two 4" N's that I carry the most,

28-2

29-2

The holster that I use for both guns is this Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake,

The stocks on the 29-2 are sweet. I use the same holster has a matter of fact I bought the belt and
cartridge slide too its a good rig but it stains bad how about yours?
