Good video. Here..companies come out to the country and cut acres of standing forests to "plant" their solar panels and call them "farms". They are nothing but skyscrapers on their sides and devastate the ecosystem they displace. City people say they need the power generation and we should not object. If they can't sustain their lifestyles on their own resources and must steal from others that are more frugal, they should not build and live in cities.

Impressive guy. Fine example of how each of us can make a difference in our lives, and leave the world a better place than we've found it. If we try.

I can’t see link
Look for Forest Man, a 2014 short film, on YouTube.

If you are on an iPad, there is a setting that needs to be changed. Don't recall what it is, but explanation may be in the Forum Office sub forum.

We are approaching the point where we have to admit we may have too many people in certain areas and should be doing something about it. But, as a country boy, I certainly don’t want to see everyone abandon their cities and move in around me! :D

Power generation is just one facet of the over-population problem. My particular pet peeve is the generation and disposal of waste materials (“landfills”).

It’s easy enough to see possible solutions to the over-population issue (not including depopulation through war). A major problem will be getting Americans to agree on and accept those solutions, and to work together. A lot of difficult but very important work needs to be done, and meanwhile our “leadership” appears to pass its time with “urgent” matters that involve gratuitous legal maneuvering centered around pointless, non-productive political oneupsmanship.
