I was on GB looking for a smaller carry pistol and found a New Old Stock 2.0 9mm Shield for $318. with two mags, one 8rd and one 7 rounder.
With shipping it came to $376. total, which I thought was a great deal.
The PC models were around $550. plus shipping and I would have liked a PC, but it just wasn't worth the extra dough to me.

Anyway there's one more at that price if anyone's interested.

* Oops, edited the shipped price because math is hard.

I've got three of them, with two being PC's. I don't really see much difference in the PC models. They do have fiber optic sights, which is an improvememt over the standard sights, but the standards aren't "bad" either. If there's a difference in the triggers, I can't tell it. Neither can my scale. One of the PC's has a ported barrel. Again, I can't tell if there is a difference or not. It is messier to clean. The other PC has a 4" barrel, not ported. Really good shooter with the longer sight radius. The non PC one has a green laser. That's about it.

I don't remember any of the three ever malfunctioning. You'll like it I'm sure.

I will catch a lot of flack for saying this, but I like my 2.0 Shield 9, better than my early Shield Plus.

Good purchase, congrats.
Overall, I like my Shield Plus better than my Shield 1.0, especially when the Shield 1.0 still had the stock, basic sear. However, the Shield 1.0 was vastly improved by adding the S&W PC sear. I've had people say that the trigger feel was pretty similar to how Shield 2.0s felt out of the box.

It also had a more positive trigger reset than my Shield Plus, or any of my M&P 2.0s, for that matter

I remember buying my Shield 1.0 with the Smith & Wesson rebate for $249 and I thought that was an incredible deal at the time. It had a decent trigger and I was quite happy with the gun, but everyone was saying how great the Sig 365s were and I bought one of those and liked it even more so said goodbye to the Shield. I may try it a Shield plus someday but it would be hard to dethrone the Sig 365.

I got my Shield 1.0 when there was a rebate to clear out inventory before the 2.0 came out.

I ended up also buying a P365XL, and when I shot them back to back, I found that I was more consistent with my first round out of the holster with the P365XL. I put this up to the flat trigger. However, I found the Shield to be flatter recoiling, which I think was mainly due to the grip angle.

This made me think that I'd really like the Shield Plus, so I bought one when S&W had a fall/winter rebate. I was right.
