Found a gun this morning!

If Dan said it, you can take it to the bank! He's the official watcher of all that moves, and most that don't.

Dick,

I'm sure glad you posted this...Went out this morning looked under the front seat of my unmarked and found
a nickle 5" pre-war Heavy Duty that I lifted off'n some one sumwhere's.

Mabee that's why my naps have be so restless, one of the duck was outta the row.

Su Amigo,

I know Mr Burg, his age is hard to tell.... somewhere between 60 and 25 I'd say.

I'm a few years younger but I too have "misplaced" a firearm (or two) and other accessories. Presently, I can't find a magazine for my 380 Walther.
I had a Colt JR that I found when it got cold enough for a jacket this fall.
Every coat I own has 22 shells in the pockets, I never carry a 22. (?)
And there's always a flashlight missing from where I need it when it's dark enough to need light. I keep them everywhere, but never WHERE I need it.

Dicks right, I know about "not getting in a hurry" .... sometimes it takes a year of gunshows to make a deal.

Now, remember the masonic ring I'm supposed to get from Joe? I hope to have it by the 4th..... of July. :D

That's odd. I just realized I am missing a Model 19. And I know that for sure - there's no doubt about it. It is around here somewhere, I think...

I probably need Dick, his cat, and his wife to help me find it. I'll look for it after dinner. My memory is better when I am not hungry.

My wife usually tries to find out which of my gun's are loaded or not, finally told her, act like they all are.

Wife: Is that gun hidden on top of the refrigerator loaded?
Me: What the heck good would it be if it wasn't loaded?

Mr. Burg, if I say that I believe in you, will you bring me firearms related presents at Christmas? :D

Before we married my wife decided to move from MI to Virginia Beach, smart lady, to be with her mother. In packing for the move she brought all of her "pockybooks" (I know but try telling her) down from closet shelves. She emptied out each one before boxing it up. When she was done she had found $287!

So far no gun has fallen into that black hole somewhere in my house, but plenty of other stuff has. I have a Chicom Tokarev, with capture papers. The papers were looking a litle beat up. so I thought I'd put them somewhere safe. They're safe enough all right; that was 18 years ago and I haven't seen them since.
