Found a K32

Welcome to the Forum, and thank you for this Post. A rare K-32 in excellent condition is a little out of my price range, but I'm sure that there are quite a few other Forum members that would be thrilled to buy one of these unicorns! You should be receiving PMs soon.

Pre-war or Post war? If like the one at the top of this page with proper pre-war magnas hold on to your seat. Even an early post war model marked gun (Model 16) would be a great find. Which is it?

Rare birds, but I have no idea what the current going price for a K-32 is.

I don't really know either although I've recorded ten recent sales of a mix of pre-32s, -2s, and -3s. They ranged from $1880 to $3819 plus sales taxes and shipping, some with boxes some not, some with correct stocks, some not.

So I have two. An ugly one, no box, and a pretty one with the box. Someone say the pretty one has been refinished, I don't think so, but. For the record if the condition is right, $3500 isn't crazy.

The one I posted about was marked $3500. I’m sorry for the delay in responding, had a lot going on.

If it was a Model 16-4, ‘80s-‘90s vintage one, $3500 is a dealer dreaming. oTOH, for a pre- model number K32, it could be a screaming deal. I agree that more info and a couple of pictures would really help.

I was looking for 16-4 for a few years, but they were expensive, even more than 500 EUR
I got several hundred LAPUA wadcutter cartridges and needed a revolver to shoot them out :)
I would have liked a 16-4 4" or a 31 3" or 4"

Now I have whole Target Masterpiece family, 14, 16 and 17, lot of LAPUA cartridges for all caliber.

If this is allowed, the name of the store is Overmountain Rifleman in Morganton NC. I have nothing to do with the store, or the sale. Just trying to let everyone know about it. Honestly I wouldn’t know what to look for but I recognized it was a rare gun.

Some recent values---fairly recent from those of mine that went away during the liquidation of my collection during the three years ending a year and change ago.

K-32 1st Model----$7135
K-32 2nd Model (Narrow rib/Satin Blue finish)----$3825
K-32 3rd Model (Wide rib/Bright Blue)----$3525

The 1st Model was a 95% gun, but scruffy---poor care and handling. That said, it was what it was-----and it was the only one I'd ever seen.

The other two were better. One of the other two had its box, but I don't recall which one.
