A year or so ago, with the help of a Forum member, I acquired a WW2 Mark 2 fighting knife made by Camillus, one of the handful of companies that made "Ka-Bar" type knives for WW2
A couple of months ago I purchased a PAL RH36 knife from WW2. Then I found out that during WWII the PAL Company made knives in Holyoke, MA, the town where my Dad was born and raised and where he spent WWII from age 10-14. Naturally, as a member of this Forum, I was compelled to look for more examples of WWII PALs. I found two more PALS, ending up with these three (not including the Camillus Mark 2).
M1 Garand bayonet
RH-36 (top)
RH-35 (Mark 1)
A bit of research showed that PAL also made a Mark 2 fighting knife, an M3 "Trench Knife" and an M4 Bayonet for the M1 Carbine.
Tonight I found a PAL Mark 2, also known as the "RH-37"
