Found a Recon 45

Couldn't get past the price tag on it, but it was a nice looking pistol at the LGS.

Oh geeze, your gonna get a talking to by the 3rd Genners. That is a very sought after pistol especially if it was in very good condition. How much? I really like my 4506 and 4566 but would trade both for a Recon 45 or 945.

I've only seen one and decided to buy it.I'm sure it's been shot a little but probably never carried.Came with the stainless steel carrycase.

My 5906 and the Recon 45 are my two favorite autos.

Haha I didn't ask to look at it. The $1400 price tag was a bit more than I can stomach right now. I love a 3rd gen as much as the next guy, was lucky enough to get a 4014. The same LGS also had a SFF MkII, didn't catch the price on that one.

If I don't win the lottery tonight I would be happy divulge the info on where it can be found. I would love for a guy on here to get it!

Both are excellently priced assuming condition is as described, and if they come with box, papers, etc. Otherwise, I think maybe a bit too high but still in the ballpark at $1,300 each.

Like another poster said in another thread recently: "I need more money."

I bought them both. Just picked them up today. Was going to buy the SFF and decided to blow my gun budget for the year and got them both.. I'm glad I did. I am pretty sure the Recon is unfired. The SFF has been but not much, it looks new as well. Both came with all the paperwork, boxes, and accessories. Please excuse the crappy cell phone pics.
