It caught my eye due to it's unique dimensions. Based on what I've read so far it's a 4516 (dash one?) slide on a 4506 frame and it was a Lew Horton run of less than 500. The last thing I needed today was another .45 but alas I couldn't leave this one behind. It's in good shape. I have not shot it yet. I'm hoping tomorrow. It's quite the chunk of all steel goodness. Can anyone tell me more? And can anyone tell me if the rear sight screw is correct? It doesn't obstruct the sight picture and it seems to fit perfectly thread wise, and it's snugged down as far as it will go. I'm used to seeing them flush. It's also got the shaved down slide stop and safety levers, and it's got a few bumps and bruises too. Nothing that made me think twice. Thanks for looking!

I like it!

I've never handled a 4516, is the grip that much shorter? (I guess that's a pretty subjective question)

I always thought a 4566 would be a nice sized .45 package but this looks pretty promising too.

Sorry I don't know much about the rear sight screw. The rear sight screw on my 6906 is down much further than yours (flush with the sight body)

Maybe someone replaced it with a longer, "field expedient" one.
