Found one..SW99c 9mm

So I had to go to the LGS to pick up a gun I already ordered. The guy goes to bring it out of the back and I start looking in the used case. Hmm, there’s a Glock box but that’s not a Glock sitting on top of it. When he gets back out I ask to look at it. Like new, three mags including a factory P99 mag with extension. “Yea, I’ll take that too.”

The only issue is the backstrap was cracked. Good thing I had a spare from my P99c, and I also ordered another from Walther as they’re in stock right now.

The last time I ordered a back strap for my P99c it was an newer design, with a more pronounced, course checkering instead of the small dots. I think it is an improvement. I always wanted a compact version of the SW99. It looks like you got a fantastic condition one. I am jealous.

I recall reading here that Walther wouldn't send a member that part unless it was for the Walther P99, claiming it's not compatible with the Smith and Wesson SW99. Glad it worked out for you - looks like a winner.

I ordered it off the Walther USA website, so I didn’t even talk to anyone. I did order the checkered style one, that is the original to the SW99. The dotted one on it is an extra I had from a P99c. They’re definitely cross compatible, as it fits perfectly.
