found out something last night

the sig sauer v crown ammo i found out by accident last night who makes the v crown bullet,,,, its made by sierra,,, i did more digging and got on sierras websight and they have the bullet available for loading,,, not cheap but available,,,, around $1.00 per 45 rd and about 75 cents for 9mm,,,the 9mm comes in 3 weights and very easy to find,,, the 45 cal is 1 weight and the only palce i found it was straight from sierra for $45 per box 100,,,,other sights has them for roughly 35 per 100 but sold out
i looked for about 2 hours for the hst bullet to find out who makes it and if available for loading,, no luck,,,,
from what i can tell teh hst and the v crown has ABOUT the same construction
for some reason the 9mm gold dot is very easy to find but NOT the 45 cal,,,,,,, geeezz
yes i have to much time on my hands

I've gotten them from Midway for 9mm and 380 back when I couldn't find gold-dots. IIRC they were about $22-$23 per 100.

your right,,, the 9mm v crown can be found no problem but i would have better luck looking like brad pitt then find the 45s,,, midway is my go to for a lot of things,, getting ready to make an order

The last box I bought of the Sig V-Crown 45acp was at Academy. 230 gr. Seems to me Gander had them also.

GRAF & Sons has the V-Crown in 9mm and .45 in-stock as of a couple of minutes ago.

Sierra makes good bullets, I'm not surprised that Sig would use them.

I got them from American Reloading last summer... at a good price too .
