I keep my personal protection ammo separately from my range ammo just to keep track of what I have. Hadn't looked in a while, just got done doing an inventory and look what I found, forgot I had them LOL.

The .38spl is a full 50 round box and the 9 is missing 14 rounds from a 50 round box. At one point I had a box of S&W labeled Nyclad .38 but must've used it up a long time ago.

Funny I came across this thread. I was digging through my Rimfire ammo today and came across an old box of 'Devastators' that I forgot I had!

I don't carry my 640 anymore, have a lot of Gold Dot +P that will go with a 3" 64 I'm waiting to get delivered to my dealer. I'll put these boxes back in the ammo locker.

By the way the price sticker on the 9mm reads $34.95.

Those 38 Nyclads are a very sweet SD load for the light J frame snub nose.

Just enough energy and minimal recoil for that weapon, if you have to use it.

Hang on to it if you can.
Looking at the test results in bare gelatin it looks like it's performance was all advertising hype from back then . Maybe better in a 4" barrel.
General Cartridge .
