Depends on my mood!
Found them at the bottom of a box of bayonets and other miscellaneous "stuff". Thought I'd re-finish them because they were covered with green/yellow moldy stuff. Well, the finish underneath all the schmutz was hard, so I cleaned them with mineral spirits, then hit them with 1500 grit sandpaper, buffed with polishing compound, then hit them with three coats of bowling alley wax.
I'm impressed! I got lucky. Put them on my Model 14.

Anyone have any information about these grips from the photos?
Thanks!

Curious about the "bowling alley wax". What alley do you acquire that?

That used to be a popular paste wax for home use on hardwood floors from Johnson Wax. It was sold as being strong enough to stand up to use on the maple boards of a bowling alley. I haven't seen it for sale for years, but I stil have a couple of partial cans around.
