Four inch Shield Question.

Is it just me ? Did I miss the listing, but is the four inch shield only available as a performance center version? Is there a standard four inch version?

Got the email today. There's a non-ported, no optic version; a non-ported optics ready version; and a ported, optice ready version.

Looks like the non-ported, no optics is a close as a "standard" one will get.

I here you. The wait has begun. Guess the wife and I will just have to shoot the 3 shields and 1.0 compact more until then to help us endure the wait.

You and Raisin are correct no thumb safety. Since all of our other M&P's have thumb safeties I guess I just have to wait and hope for a safety model. I am an old 1911 and Hi Power shooter so my thumb looks for the safety. Old dog old tricks.
