Just picked up a fpc in 40. Its ok at best. The rebate advertised, is buy fpc get free vortex red dot as rebate. Rebate was what caused me to buy this plastic kel tec vs doing a ar type pcc? Tried 3 times to fill out online rebate. Got disgusted with trying to do it online/calling rebate center. So I called smith directly today. Rep says rebate is only for 9mm. I have combed the web and it says nowhere 9mm only??? Hate to vent but didnt want others to make $700 purchase with broken promises of a $200 bonus! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and the best 2025 life can offer you! Rant over.

Your link isnt working! Much the same as thier transparency! Sad you have to lawyer to use a simple rebate. I believe they got caught with thier pants down and released the 40 sooner then anticipated. Just sad is all! Guess i should memorize all my owners manuals with each gun as well? I didnt post to argue but to inform others!
No intention to argue. Link works fine for me. The screenshot shows which models the rebate does apply to.
S&W has many models and sub-models, checking the details can prevent a mistake.
Many times the retailers hype the rebates with vague language in their ads or uninformed salespeople don't know the details of the rebate. Checking those details is important.

What the FPC 9 mm from Sportsman’s Warehouse OD Green with the free vortex. Sent the information in with my street address and PO Box. Had my email my phone number also. Call January being processed in February being processed called yesterday that rebate silver sir you don’t get it Now. I can only speak to people in India sitting on their couch. They told me I sent a PO Box and I said also sent my street address but nothing can be done because it’s over. I called Smith & Wesson direct and they said you gotta give us a redemption code or tracking number. I said they never sent me one, then how the heck did they know your account was being processed? They looked it up. What a bunch of dumbasses at Smith & Wesson and they just wanna cheat you out of anything they can. I’m done buying guns, but I am finalist a small claims against him for 200 bucks so I can go out and buy it and have it shipped to me, Smith & Wesson you’re an American company pull your **** out of India
