I shot my first full match with the 9mm FPC today. I also shot my Ruger MKII Government with iron sights. I was the only iron sight .22 pistol shooter.
I did better with the FPC than I expected. Final time was 80.41 with a percentage of 78.57%. That being said, I was blasted out of the water by just about everyone. It was a small field too.
One other 9mm FPC competed and Jeez O'Pete can he shoot!
Not a hiccup from my gun at all. I was running a big mix of stuff I had inherited from my FIL. I have no real idea of how old it was, but the FPC ran flawlessly.
I did better with the FPC than I did with the Ruger, which surprised me.

Happy to see you used it in a match. I too shoot my 9mm fpc in USPSA matches, always runs fine, just make sure the bolt is clean and oiled. As far as how you placed in matches, does it really matter. I shoot for the gun and to be around friends who shoot too.
