Hello from Watauga, TN!
I bought a FPC a couple of months ago. I went to the range and it performed beautifully for 23 rounds. When a inserted a new magazine and the bolt went forward normally. The rifle fired 1st shot, then the trigger would not reset for the second shot. I pulled the charging handle back, cycling it. It had a new round in it. It fired again but again the trigger would not reset. I, then, just pulled the trigger a few times and it reset and fired but again would not reset. I figured it was because I did not lube the trigger assembly. I field stripped it but the same problem happened. Now that I have it on my bench I can recreate the problem, When you pull the trigger and keep the trigger pulled. Then you cycle the charging handle and release the trigger you should hear an audible click, then the trigger can be actuated again. mine does not have the reset click. I can pull it a few times it will reset. I have disassembled the bottom end and thoroughly cleaned the trigger area. No change. Any ideas? Ore do I contact S&W to return it? Thanks in advance
